As Richland enters into the Spring 2021 Semester registration cycle, we have created a class delivery plan based on your input. Class options are designed to keep you safe while you continue to pursue your educational goals. The plan includes three class formats.
ONLINE: You will receive instruction and assignments online with specific due dates as outlined by the instructor. Instructors might provide opportunities for live virtual sessions. These will be designated as V sections, i.e. ENGL101-V1.
ONLINE LIVE: You and the instructor are online together. All course materials and assignments are provided online and available at any time during a specified period as outlined by the instructor. Day(s)/times will be listed on the schedule. Scheduled time requirements will vary between courses and sections, so refer to the online spring course schedule for more information. These will be designated as D sections, i.e. ENGL101-D1.
HYBRID: You will receive instruction through a combination of face-to-face and ONLINE or ONLINE LIVE instruction. The course content and most assignments are provided online, but some on-campus face-to-face instruction and skills-based activities are still required. During this face-to-face component, social distancing and other mitigation efforts, including face coverings, will be required. Face-to-face time requirements will vary between hybrid courses and sections; please refer to your course schedule for more information. These will be designated as Y sections, i.e. BIOL 201-Y1.
