Richland Community College is governed by an eight-member Board of Trustees, which oversees the college’s policies, direction, and overall mission. Seven Trustees are elected by registered voters within the Richland District for staggered six-year terms, ensuring community representation and leadership. The eighth member is the Student Trustee, elected for a one-year term by fellow students, providing a direct student voice in college governance.

Together, the Board of Trustees works collaboratively to guide Richland Community College, ensuring that it continues to provide high-quality, accessible education to the community while adapting to the evolving needs of students and the workforce.
